The new website of Industrial Yeasts Collection DBVPG of Italy is available

The website of the collection DBVPG has been completely restyled and is now possible to search for strains conserved. The URL is www.agr.unipg.it/dbvpg.

This is the final step of long and hard work aimed at improving the website layout and increasing the amount of information reported for each conserved strain. The available database reports a large number of salient information of each strain preserved (including literature, if any).

The database of the website DBVPG Collection has also been updated based on the most recent taxonomic designations: "The Yeasts. A Taxonomy Study," Fifth Edition, CP Kurtzman, J.W. Fell & T. Boekhout (eds.), Elsevier, Amsterdam, 2011.

The services offered to the collection DBVPG scientific community, international and private institutions are also described.
